Operational Performance

  • Design of a double-tube polymeric needle makes it easy to connect the set both to firm glass/polymeric containers and to soft polymeric container. Sharp needle tip could easily pass through either a rubber cork of a bottle or a nipple of a polymeric container with infusion agents providing full discharge of the container;
  • Air channel of the polymeric needle is equipped with hydrophobic membrane, sponginess of which is of high performance for transfusion speed; the way of air passing to the container is bacterium free;
  • Semi-flexible transparent drip chamber helps to watch the process of dropping;
  • Design of a dropping element provides appearance of 20 drops from (1.0±0.1) ml of the distilled water at a flow speed of (50±5) drops per minute;
  • Conic filter, fixed in the chamber of a dropping set, provides elimination of microparticles with a size of more than 175 micron with a filtration coefficient not less than 80% at transfusion of at least 1 l of preserved blood with a 10 – 14 days storage period;
  • Roller clamp helps to administer solutions with a definite speed starting from a drop infusion to a stream infusion, choosing the most applicable one for the patient;
  • Transparent tube wall allows to eliminate possibility of air inclusions entry into a venous bed of the patient;
  • Flash ball is intended for additional injections. Self-sealing of the flash ball complies with the requirements of GOST 25047-87 and allows to administer up to 6 injections without the loss of sealability. The flash ball is made of antiallergenic synthetic polysopren;
  • Luer connector is adapted for injection needles, peripheral and central venous catheters, other medical products with the same port;
  • Sharp angle, double sharpening and thin wall provide painless and less traumatic insert of injection needle;
